My primary research interests are in the group-level dynamics associated with the use of information technology. More specifically, my work examines such phenomena as emergent leadership and coordination in virtual teams, the processes by which virtual teams use specific capabilities of collaborative technologies to leverage their knowledge, and the consequences (in terms of team outcomes) of that appropriation.
