Satterfield, Michael Associate Professor

Positions

Dr. Satterfield's research interests are focused on the long-term consequences of maternal nutrition on fetal and postnatal growth and development using sheep as his primary animal model. In addition, Dr. Satterfield studies the role of nutraceuticals in fetal brown adipose tissue development and the ability of offspring to regulate their core body temperature during periods of cold stress. His teaching interests include general reproductive and placental physiology as well as fetal growth and development.
