Solubility and viscosity of solutions of HCFC-22 in naphthenic oil and in alkylbenzene at high pressures and temperatures Conference Paper uri icon

abstract

  • The solubility and viscosity of mixtures of HCFC-22 in two commonly used 150 SUS lubricants have been measured in a new test facility. Results for liquid mixtures of 10% to 40% HCFC-22 (by mass) in a 150 SUS naphthenic oil and in a 150 SUS alkylbenzene are reported over the temperature range of 100F (38C) to 300F (149C). Also presented are the results of a nonlinear regression analysis that provided empirical correlations of this data. Comparisons with the limited data previously published in the open literature show that reasonable agreement is obtained.
