On the synthesis of controllers for a non-overshooting step response

A report was presented on the synthesis of controllers for a nonovershooting step response. The transfer function from the output of the prefilter to the output of the system was found to be stable. It was shown that every admissible linear time-invariant (LTI) system could be controlled to have no overshooting step response.
