  • The adult learning theory, technical knowledge, instructional design, graphic design and administrative issues of distance education are discussed in 'Advanced Methods in distance education: Applications and Practices for Educators, Trainers, and Learners' book. The strategies for distance education, and the use of multimedia for learning are also discussed in the book. It also discuss how different learning styles in the class or training room must be recognized and how different modes of technology will be best for each learning style. It also discusses approaches in the planning and implementation of distance programs such as academic policies and budgeting, faculty policies, copyright and fair use guidelines, and student support issues.
