abstract
The low lying triplet states of BrONO2 and their role in wavelength absorption were discussed. The excited state coupled cluster response methods were used to calculate excitation energies and oscillator strengths. It was found that the origin of the wavelength absorption is due to the transitions to triplet states and not singlet states.
