abstract

  • A novel method for teaching undergraduate heat transfer by using an active learning approach is presented. The method focuses on minimizing lecture time and maximizing student engagement. Learning is achieved by forming small groups of two to three students who then work on in-class graded assignments. Copyright 2008 by ASME.
