abstract
In the present analysis, the effect of the trailing-edge ejection on the flow behind a cooled blade is studied. The important parameters like temperature, coolant mass flow rate, i. e. velocity and trailing-edge slot width ratios, are considered. As a result, it has been shown that the velocity ratio approximately equals 1 the trailing-edge blowing has an important effect on mixing losses. Furthermore, for a given coolant mass flow ratio, the optimum trailing-edge slot width can be determined and vice versa.
