abstract
Control systems are usually required to track some signals while rejecting others as disturbances. In many tracking scenarios, the actual trajectory of an uncooperative target cannot be directly measured. A comprehensive theory for tracking and rejecting these inaccessible signals in linear time-invariant systems is presented. This includes both a constant gain controller and an adaptive version as well
