abstract
The separation methods used to recover soluble polymeric ligands or soluble polymer-ligated homogeneous catalysts were discussed. Many approaches existed for batch and continuous recycling of soluble polymer-bound catalysts. Soluble polymer-supported catalysts have advantages of more facile characterization and very predictable reactivity. Results showed that extra synthetic work was necessary to immobilize a catalyst or to prepare the requisite ligands.
