I pursue topics in art law and law school pedagogy. My research in art law explores how and why the law both encourages and stifles the development of artistic expression, particularly as applied to public art and emerging genres. Meanwhile, my interest in law school pedagogy focuses on active learning in the law school environment, with just-in-time teaching, peer instruction, and responsive classrooms as focal points.
