abstract
The purpose of this article is to examine the relationship between transformative learning and the perception of the teacher's commitment to an emotional investment and call to teaching philosophy. Teachers have a direct influence on their students and the attitude that the teacher projects can have a positive or negative effect on their students. Specifically, providing an active, authentic and engaging learning environment is the foundation to transformative learning.
