abstract
This paper forms the basis for a panel discussion concerning Professional Engineering (PE) registration of engineering technology (ET) graduates. The paper contains the opinions of the panelists and represents a starting point for the discussion. The panelists' positions range from supporting and opposing ET registration to forming a separate registration. One panelist's position includes an interview from a practicing PE with a bachelor's degree in transportation technology.
