Measurement of longitudinal spin diffusion in dilute 3He4He solutions Academic Article

abstract

• We have used pulsed NMR to investigate longitudinal spin diffusion in a dilute (350 ppm) solution of 3He in 4He at temperatures between 100 and 4 mK. The design of our experiment allows us to measure D| independently of D. Our preliminary results are in good agreement with theoretical calculations, both in the classical (TF) and intermediate (T TF) regimes. 1990.
