abstract
We describe the measurement of the longitudinal spin diffusion coefficient D0 in spin polarized atomic hydrogen through a detailed spectroscopic study of the small tipping angle, pulsed NMR frequency spectrum. Measurements are discussed for temperatures between 160 and 537 mK and for densities between 71015 and 5 1016cm-3 and are in good agreement with the theory. At low densities (< 1016cm-3 ), results are consistent with expected inertial corrections. 1990.
