abstract
2017 IEEE. Different regimes of filamentation of multi-millijoule mid-infrared pulses in ambient air can be achieved by varying focusing conditions and chirp of the driving pulses. Dynamic absorption losses are identified as a possible mechanism of observed plasma-less filamentation.
