abstract
We report on experimental observation of hydrogen atoms embedded in 50 nm thick films of solid H2. A 50 ppm mixture of H in H2 is deposited on surfaces of the sample cell as a result of recombination of a polarized atomic hydrogen gas H. We did not see any noticeable recombination loss of the H atoms in the H2 film during 4 days of observation at temperatures 100 mK. 2006 American Institute of Physics.
