abstract
The Hartley transform is an alternative formulation of harmonic functional transform similar to the Fourier identity. Many parallel implementations for signal processing transforms have already been reported. The implementation of Hou's FHT algorithm has been studied earlier on three Multiprocessor Architectures (MPAs): (i) multiprocessors connected through Shared Bus (SB), (ii) multiprocessors connected by indirect binary n-cube (IBNC) multistage interconnection network (MIN) and, (iii) mesh connected multiprocessors. We analyze the performance of vector Hartley transform (VHT) algorithm on these MPAs.
