abstract
A solid-block Fourier transform (FT) spectrometer was developed for noninvasive monitoring of analytes in cell culture media. The device was tested in visible range to show the potential for monitoring without the need for moving parts such as in classic moving mirror FTIR. The system can be used in the region of interest by replacing the silicon charge coupled device (CCD) with a infrared-sensitive CCD or PDA.
