abstract
This paper presents a systematic procedure of designing fuzzy controllers for a class of nonlinear systems. The main scheme is to reduce the nonlinear model to a linear model by introducing a reference signal or model, and then design a controller to satisfy the desired control objective by means of Popov's hyperstability theory.
