Surface diffusion enhanced chemical sensing by surface acoustic waves

A new chemical sensing method that enhances sensitivity and selectivity is proposed and verified by theoretical analysis. This method is based on the spectral analysis of the dynamics of adsorbed molecules on surface acoustic wave (SAW) delay lines and resonators.
