National Geotechnical Experimentation Sites at Texas A&M University: Clay and sand Academic Article

abstract

• A summary of the soil characteristics and site activities over the past 20 years for the National Geotechnical Sites at Texas A&M University is presented. One clay site and one sand site located at the University Riverside Campus are selected for geotechnical engineering research. The soil properties at the two sites have been documented in a series of reports.
