Texas Superstars, the Plant Introduction and Marketing Assistance Program in Texas Conference Paper

abstract

• Various aspects of the Texas Superstar program are discussed. The program ensures that customers have access to and utilize the best and most environmentally responsible plant materials and products. Once the plants are identified and the production problems overcome, growers are advised of the upcomming marketing campaign. The final step in the program is the coordinated campaign which encompasses newspaper, magazine and television outlets where the media packets contain information on special attribute of the plants, its usage and any special care that it may require.
