abstract
Tandem mass spectrometry is a versatile and sensitive strategy for characterizing the structures of phytochemicals. In particular, the differentiation of isomeric flavonoids by tandem mass spectrometry is the focus of this chapter. Metal complexation offers a degree of "tunability" which enhances the identification of flavonoids. © 2006 American Chemical Society.
