abstract

  • The electronimpact induced rearrangements of halobiphenyls show substituent equilibration in the molecular ion for the chloro, bromo and iodo isomers. The above halo compounds as well as the fluoro, methyl and methoxybiphenyls all show considerable H/D randomization in the molecular ion or some subsequent decomposition ion.
