Texas A&M University have developed a competition based course project based on a mobile robot. The Curricula uses a robot, named MPIII, integrates wireless TCP/IP networking, streaming video and data acquisition. The project allowed students to remotely monitor the environment and control the operation of the platform. The project is found to be helpful in areas such as applied research and design in the undergraduate courses, team interaction and technology integration.
