abstract
Here we report surface modifications of poly (vinyl chloride)(PVC) films with similar lithiated ,-diaminopoly(alkene oxide) oligomers. It can readily dehydrochlorinate the PVC and thus generate conjugated double bonds (C=C) on the PVC film surface. The product film was yellow with the short reaction times and brown with longer reaction times. Since the product film was transparent, UV-visible spectra could be recorded.
