abstract

  • We have studied the effect of doping Mn in Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O. The electrical resistivity and critical temperature were measured for samples prepared with a range of dopant concentrations and for long and short sintering times. Solid solubility limit of Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Mn-O in Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O has been investigated for a possible flux pinning. The solubility limit has been observed as quite promising and it has a positive effect on electrical properties in terms of flux pinning.
