Dr. Kirmani particular area of interest is the management of Refractory Epilepsy. Her most noteworthy contribution in the area is bringing new drugs into the clinical arena. She has been involved with many antiepileptics that have been approved in the last decade. She has been involved as a Principal Investigator in over 30 drug trials in both children and adults.
