I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture at Prairie View A&M University, dedicated to leveraging architectural practices to enhance public quality of life, health, and well-being. My expertise in professional architectural practice and passion for research drive me to design and implement projects across diverse settings, including healthcare facilities, museums, office buildings, theaters, exhibitions, libraries, laboratory research, landscape, and urban planning.
My research projects focus on creating health-promoting environments by integrating outdoor activities, open green spaces, daylighting, acoustics, and urban common spaces. My research interests lie at the intersection of architecture, public health, and the links between chronic diseases and the environment. I am committed to promoting interdisciplinary research that integrates the built environment, health outcomes, and policy to improve overall well-being.
