I am passionate about understanding the role social connections and interactions play in health behaviors. This passion has led to a research focus on social network analysis and health behavior. More specifically, I have focused my research on the social aspects of physical activity among children and families. Because of this focus, I am versed in social network analysis, systematic observation, intervention development and implementation, as well as rural and minority health.
