abstract
Gene expression in tissues varies in health and disease (1,2). Reproductive health relates to general health as well. In the reproductive tracts of animals, altered gene expression can make an individual successful or unsuccessful in reproduction. Subfertility in livestock and honeybees is a concern (3). Early identification of subfertile males could save time and money for producers. The proposed work will develop such a test for stallions, bulls and male honeybees.
