Generalized saturation properties of pure fluids via cubic equation of state

abstract
The Maxwell criteria requires that each cubic equation of state (EOS) have unique, reduced saturation properties when its constants are fixed by the usual critical constraints. For example, a numerical, reduced vapor pressure curve results as a function of reduced temperature. Use of independent, empirical EOS and vapor pressure equations have caused thermodynamic inconsistencies in previous correlations. The EOS for which the tables are prepared include (1) van der Waals, (2) Redlich-Kwong, (3)Soave-Redlich-Kwong with acentric factors of zero, 0.2, 0.4, and 0.6 and (4) Peng-Robinson with the same acentric factors.
