abstract

• Several modifications of a specific chemical assay for hydroxyproline in urine are presented which make the procedure more rapid without reducing its specificity or accuracy. Also, a new method for measuring the recoveries in individual samples with hydroxyproline-14C is presented. Results obtained with the new procedure in two laboratories over a number of years are reviewed. 1967.
