Palgrave Macmillan does its authors no favours with careless production. Too-frequent typographical errors may be trivial distractions (like'Because'(p. 15 5),'poems's'(p. 161)); but some disrupt reading (eg'is not be'(p. 157),'well'for'as well'(p. 208)), and a few can hinder understanding (like the mislabelling of'augmentation by cognition'as' augmentation by perception'in the right centre of Fig. 1.2).
