abstract

  • The primary thrust of the resaerch will develop a data base of family farms in principal production regions for use in simulation models to forecast the economic viability of farms under alternative farm programs, crop/revenue insurance provisions, income tax policies, and trade policies. Further research will be conducted to update research as to the economic viability of alternative feedstocks for producing renewable fuels and the viability of that industry.
