Kim Belcik is a clinical associate professor at Texas A&M University College of Nursing. Kim graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a BSN in 2002, completed her PhD in 2011 at the University of Texas at Austin and most recently earned her MSN from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and became a board certified family nurse practitioner. She has been an active member of the Texas Nurses Association since 2002 and has served as the Vice-President as well as the chair of the Policy Council. She is also active in Texas Nurse Practitioners and volunteers in medically underserved communities. Her research interests include creating cultures of scholarly caring at schools of nursing and re-envisioning the relationships between and among nursing faculty and nursing students.
