abstract
The present review critically summarizes some of the recent work on various newer antithrombotic drugs for secondary prophylactic use in myocardial infarction and other arterial thromboembolic disorders, including percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty and cardiopulmonary bypass, and cerebral stroke. It also focuses on current trends in the development of more selective and potent antiplatelet agents for myocardial infarction.
