The article begins with a review of anxiety and depression in this population, including key socio-cultural considerations that influence the clinical presentation of these conditions among Latinos. The article concludes with a review of barriers to mental health treatment among Latinos, promising cultural adaptions to address barriers, and recommendations for clinicians and researchers working with this population.
