A carbon capture and storage system includes a carbon dioxide scrubbing facility and a cultivation facility. The carbon dioxide scrubbing facility includes a washing solution therein and the washing solution absorbs carbon dioxide in a carbon dioxide-containing gas to generate a carbon-containing compound. The cultivation facility is communicated with the carbon dioxide scrubbing facility and includes a biological species which is using the carbon-containing compound to be a nutrition source therein. The biological species absorbs the carbon-containing compound.
