abstract
2014 IEEE. Endurance and security are two serious challenges for non-volatile memories such as flash memories. Write-Efficient Memory (WEM) is an important rewriting code model to solve the endurance problem. Aiming at jointly solving the endurance and the security issues in non-volatile memories, this work focuses on rewriting code with a security constraint. To that end, a novel coding model, secure WEM, is proposed here. We explore its rewriting-rate-equivocation region and its secrecy rewriting capacity in this paper.
