abstract
In a round table discussion, we propose sharing the results of a pilot study we conducted in summer 2021, where we surveyed college students in STEM courses and identified gaps among underrepresented students. We acknowledge the need for further research into 1) student perception of educational technology as a success tool and 2) underrepresented students perceived transfer of learning success to their career goals. The aim of a future study is to understand the perception of technology barriers for underrepresented students in STEM courses.
