  • A review of the literature reveals that the number of papers published in the last four years on the finite-elements modeling of laminated plates is small compared to the total number of papers published on the vibration of plates. Most of the papers are concerned with the development of new theories and/or new finite element models in an effort to include the transverse shear deformation effects.
