Combinatorial development of pressure-sensitive adhesives Academic Article uri icon

abstract

  • AbstractSummary: Combinatorial libraries of pressuresensitive adhesives were prepared and characterized using a spherical probe tester. Forcedisplacement profiles generated for each adhesive provided information related to tack, peel, and shear behavior. These data were used to find the best adhesive, which was then used to generate a combinatorial library of varying thickness. These data demonstrate the utility of highthroughput screening in pressuresensitiveadhesive development.Adhesive daughter plate arranged in 48spot array.magnified imageAdhesive daughter plate arranged in 48spot array.
