abstract

• We investigate the synchronization properties of slot-synchronized niultipulse pulse position modulation (MPPM) sequences. We derive a bound on the probability of MPPM symbol synchronization and identify synchronizable MPPM symbols, which, when periodically inserted in the data stream, can remove an observed performance floor. 1998 IEEE.
