The Origins, Development, and Evolution of the Engineering Technology Division Listserv Academic Article

abstract

• From its original inception in 1995 as a distribui ion list with a membership of 34, the engineering technology division electronic mailing list, or "listserv, " bas grown to a membership of over 4,000 by 2010. This paper will describe bow it originated, developed, and evolved into what it is today, 15 years later. Interesting incidents throughout its history will be recounted.
