abstract
This paper presents a modification of the model that describes the effect of pH on adsorption apart from the value of the equilibrium constant. This approach allows easy estimates of pH effects for a wide pH range using concentration techniques for solving simultaneous chemical equilibriums. Additionally, the modification allows the model to be more easily extrapolated to describe adsorption in systems with different solution chemistry.
