abstract

  • Subjects in experimental group l-viewed a television program and subjects in experimental group 2 a professionally produced film depicting blindness. Attitudes were signficimtiy higher on pasttest in experimental group 2. It was concluded that although the professionalfilm had a positive effect on the attitudes of the second group, the television program depiction of disability did not provide enough information to positively alter attitudes of experimental group 1.
