Nite, Calvin Associate Professor

Nite's research interests invoke tenets of institutional theory to understand sport and sport organizations. That is, he is interested in understanding the underlying rationales of why things are done the way they are in sport and how those things are created and maintained over time. Nite has invoked institutional theory within studies examining: governance of intercollegiate athletics, the impact of technological advances, professional league construction, and abuse within sport organizations.
