Creating an infrastructure for space exploitation: Space disposal of high-level nuclear waste

An infrastructure to dispose of high-level nuclear waste (HLNW) in space was proposed. HLNW need to be launched in space as it presents a splendid opportunity for the aerospace community and all other alternatives of underground storage have failed. Space disposal will also guarantee large payloads for decades, creating a market for launch systems that will provide inexpensive access to space.
